Family Pools in Marrakech: Kids' Rates at All 8 Addresses
You're staying in a riad with no pool, or with one too small for your kids to actually swim in. It's 40 degrees in the afternoon. The question quickly becomes the only one that matters: where do you find a pool in Marrakech for a family trip, and how much does it cost?
Good news: most of the city's and the desert's best establishments open their pool for the day, no overnight stay required. That's what's called a day pass: you pay for access, a lounger, and often lunch, then head back in the evening.
The answer to the price question isn't in the listed rate. It's in your children's age. The same 4-year-old gets in free at one address and costs €22 at the one next door. A 6-year-old pays half price here and full adult price there. Nobody publishes these rules clearly, so here they are, exactly as they apply at our eight partner addresses.

At Bled Ouladi, the first baby under 2 is free, additional babies cost €10. Worth knowing if you're traveling with twins.
Pay close attention to the free-entry age. Between Eden Lodge, free up to age 2, and Le Bedouin, free up to age 5, there's a three-year gap. For a family with a 4-year-old, that's the difference between paying and paying nothing.
The two addresses built for kids
These are our two cheapest addresses, and that's no accident: they're not selling a backdrop, they're selling a day that keeps your kids busy.
Bled Ouladi, €35 adult and €22 for ages 2-11. A petting farm with a large pool and a buffet. What sets it apart is that the day is already structured: lunch at 1:30pm, activities and a farm visit at 3:30pm. You have nothing to invent to fill the afternoon, which, with kids, is exactly what you want. The balance is paid in dirhams only, on site, so bring cash.
La Fattoria EcoLodge, €30 adult and €18 for ages 4-11, free under 4. A 5,000 m² eco-friendly farm in the Lalla Takerkoust mountains, with a mini football pitch, a playground, animals, and a pool. It's the lowest rate in our catalog, and for a family of four the gap with a desert camp becomes considerable.
If you're torn between the two: La Fattoria if budget is the deciding factor, Bled Ouladi if you prefer a day that's already paced out for you.
Agafay with kids: yes to lunch, no to dinner
The desert camps are the stuff of dreams, and they work very well with kids, on one condition: go for the lunch package.
The dinner package wraps up between 10pm and 11pm, forty-five minutes from Marrakech. You get back around midnight with exhausted kids, and you lose the next morning too. It's a great night out for adults, not a family outing. We say this plainly even though the dinner package is the most expensive one in our catalog.
For lunch, Le Bedouin is our pick: €45 adult, €22.50 for ages 5-11, free under 5, and above all three pools, one of them heated. It's the only Agafay address where the water stays usable in winter, and with kids that changes everything.
Two honest warnings about Agafay. Sunset Agafay is free up to age 5 but applies no reduced rate beyond that: your 6-year-old pays €45 there, the full adult price. And La Bohème charges €22.50 for kids at lunch, which is reasonable, but €45 at dinner, nearly the adult price. Always check the package before doing the math.
A pool right in Marrakech, when the drive is too much
Agafay takes a full day, round trip included. With young kids, that's not always reasonable. The Palmeraie is twenty minutes from downtown.
Palais Farah is the most flexible option in the city: open from 10am to 9pm, €45 with lunch or €25 pool-only, and for ages 3-12, €25 with lunch or €15 pool-only. You can stay three hours or eleven, nobody's timing you. Free under 3.
Eden Lodge & Spa costs more, €49 adult and €24.50 for ages 2-9, but its pool is heated to 29°C year-round and its jacuzzi to 32°C. From November to March, it's the only place on this list where your kids will actually swim. The rest of the year, the price gap is harder to justify.
What a family of four actually pays
Two adults and two 8-year-olds, lunch package, from cheapest to most expensive:
- La Fattoria: 30 + 30 + 18 + 18 = €96
- Bled Ouladi: 35 + 35 + 22 + 22 = €114
- Le Bedouin: 45 + 45 + 22.50 + 22.50 = €135
- La Bohème: 45 + 45 + 22.50 + 22.50 = €135
- Palais Farah: 45 + 45 + 25 + 25 = €140
- Eden Lodge: 49 + 49 + 24.50 + 24.50 = €147
- Be Agafay: 50 + 50 + 25 + 25 = €150

Look at the last line. Sunset Agafay lists €45 per adult, the same as Le Bedouin, yet it costs a family of four €45 more, because it applies no child rate at all. The listed price says nothing about the price you'll actually pay.
On top of these amounts, add transport. For Agafay and Lalla Takerkoust, budget around €70 for a private van round trip. Palais Farah offers a transfer at €10 per person from two passengers, Eden Lodge from €30.
Three things to check before booking
The exact age at the time of your stay. The age brackets are strict, down to the year. A child who turns 5 the week of your trip goes from free to paying at Le Bedouin.
The payment method. Bled Ouladi only accepts dirhams for the balance, Sunset Agafay cash only. With a family, that's not a small detail.
The water temperature. From November to March, an unheated pool is just decoration. Only Eden Lodge and Le Bedouin are heated. Elsewhere, you'll be paying for a pool your kids will only look at.
Our pick, by age
Under 2. Stay close to town. Eden Lodge or Palais Farah, where the baby is free, with no long drive or dust. Agafay can wait.
Ages 3 to 6. La Fattoria or Bled Ouladi. The animals and playground keep this age group far more entertained than a beautiful landscape, and the bill is the lightest on the list.
Ages 7 to 12. Le Bedouin, at lunch. The ideal age for the desert: the pool, the camel ride, the space, and a child rate at half price up to age 11.
Teenagers. Agafay without hesitation, and add quad biking. At this age the child rate no longer applies anywhere, so you might as well pick the place that will leave them with a real memory.
